Someone who knows firsthand what it feels like to lose subscribers because the consumption experience was clunky. To spend hours moderating chat instead of making content. To wonder, every time a platform changes its terms, whether the next crackdown is yours.
We're staying anonymous for now, for the same reasons most creators in this space stay careful about who they are in public. But this product wasn't built by a tech bro who saw an opportunity. It was built by someone whose income depends on this actually working.

Fan payments stay in Patreon. Always. We never touch them — that's the whole point. Instead, creators pay a flat fee for afterlore itself. And Pro stays flat forever, no matter how many fans you have.
No. Patreon stays your source of truth for payments, tiers, subscribers. afterlore is the content viewing layer. Nothing about your Patreon setup changes.
No. Nothing moves. afterlore reads your existing Patreon tier list and grants access to anyone subscribed on the tier you mark for adult content. Zero restructuring. Your fans don't need to do anything different. They log in with their Patreon account and they're in.
Your Patreon, your tiers, and your subscribers are all unchanged. We literally can't lock you in.
So we never become a payment processor for adult content. That's the category that gets banned. afterlore is a SaaS tool that creators pay for, which is a much more stable category. It's the reason we'll still be here in five years.
Keep it for community chat if you still want it. afterlore is for content viewing for now. They don't compete. Plenty of creators will use both. Plenty will only need afterlore. A community feature is planned for afterlore soon!
Access mirrors Patreon's billing cycle exactly. If a fan cancels but their Patreon period runs until the 28th, their afterlore access runs until the 28th. Cancellations don't cut access early.
